Perspective
Following on the heals of yesterday’s ride, this morning was comparatively uneventful. I read MnBicycleCommuter’s blog and found the difference in perception interesting. I thought I was busting my hump yesterday and did not really enjoy it much.

The route I took Tuesday had very little vehicle traffic on it. That is a luxury. I could ride anywhere on the road I wanted, and most of the time it was right down the middle. If I had to ride in traffic I definitely would not have enjoyed it. I know how exhausting it can be in traffic.
Traffic or not, I continue to be amazed at the energy and commitment to riding from Doug.
Nothing short of inspirational. Maybe nuts ;) You will NOT catch me signing up for something like the Arrowhead 135.
