I found myself believing the rhetoric espoused by the weatherman saying it was going to warm up overnight the other day. I am not sure what I was expecting when I woke up, but at first I was disappointed to see it was only 6 degrees. It was warmer (12 degrees) but I found myself feeling frustrated for some reason. I eventually shifted my thinking and enjoyed yesterday's rides.
This morning, I overslept. Not because of old habits dying hard (snoozing) but instead because I didn't set the alarm before going to bed. I relaxed and enjoyed the morning. It was 18 degrees (that did feel warm) and the ride was glorious.
Hope to squeeze in a few social and recreational rides this weekend.
