Day 125

When I went to bed last night the thermometer read 3.2 degrees. Mentally, I put that together with the predictions for the cold weather coming in and prepared for the worst.

When I woke up and looked at the thermometer, it said 9?? I had to look out the window to see if someone was holding a hair dryer to the remote sensor for the thermometer or sumthin'. My home thermo said 11 degrees F. WTF? I checked the computer at 5:15am and KSTP said 9. WTF? I even checked another computer 'ncase I was connected to the wrong internet. Chilly toes by the time I got to work. Double-checked the ‘puter once I got to work and justified my feelings of having some chilly toes with the fact that I saw 4.

Weather wise, I’m not giving into the hoopla about how cold it is. Yes, it’s cold. No, it’s not the end of the world, no it’s not going to stop me from riding my bike.

Today makes for 6 months of riding to and from work every day. Day number 125 if I haven’t screwed up my count. Now, to set a new goal… A year?

Wednesday - 30 Commute
Thursday - 30 Commute
Friday - 30 Commute (assuming I make it home)

MTD/YTD - 465

how about the next work day? Don't get ahead of yourself, but at the same time, relish such a positive accomplishment and the effect it has on you, those around you and the environment at large. Peace.
